Bad_Rock
In today's world can we still think that Asian countries can't even make par cans as good as ours ? I've seen in stores European made par cans a lot more expensive than the Asian ones but is it there any difference? at least one that deserves to spend a bit more?. I'd like to know which ones still produce their cans on European soil and not just sticking a brand on them.
JohnG
I'd like to know which ones still produce their cans on European soil and not just sticking a brand on them. Agreed. My wife sells her own line of artists brushes, they say made in the US. All the pieces are from china. They are simply assembled here. It might be worth your time to investigate if you want your money to truly stay in Europe. Is it worth spending extra money? It can be. I just bought 18 OPTI-PARS from American DJ. These are made in China. I decided to bite at the lure of the cheap price because these where to be used for work light. They were installed and two weeks later removed because every base corroded and ruined the lamps. What a huge waste of time, labor and lamps. I now wish I would have just paid for the Source 4 PAR. When my vendor could not get American DJ to expedite new bases they replaced all the fixtures with a different Chinese made model "Omni-Light" and all the lamps. So far so good. But no money saved.
