tour monkey Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Ok, I'm guessing that as with most behringer stuff, the DEQ2496 pro is a "very close" copy of another manufacturers unit, however, I'm struggling to find it!! Anybody have any ideas?! Slightly strange question I know. Link to the behringer site here. Cheers Munky
jayselway Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 I can't remember what it is similar to, but I know that moving an eq "fader" involves pushing a button several times, to "grab" the "fader". Don't like it - finger can't get there fast enough to move it..... fair enough - basic pa eq done on a digi, like a Helix or something vaguely similar, but for the one and only eq, still prefer a big twin 31, with long throw faders
paulears Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 when Behringer 'copy' a design, everyone slags them off. When they do one that doesn't appear to be similar, people start to look for it! Simply amazing. There are plenty of Behringer threads - available via the search facility. This thread just appears to resurrect old prejudices. So, for the moment.... I've locked it.
