Colour Mag DMX Protocol Conveter

Hi all.

 

Im trying to source a colour mag scroller protocol converter. Anyone have any ideas where I may be able to source one.

How do you mean protocol converter. I am not familiar with these things and hence would like to know what you mean.

 

If you are looking for the pinout :

 

Pin 1 = Ground

Pin 2 = Signal -ve

Pin 3 = Signal +ve

Pin 4 = +24v or +48v DC

The DMX interfaces are getting very rare now.

 

Out of curiosity do you have many colourmags?

Protocol Converter: Box that converts one protocol to another ie DMX to Colourmag (in this case) or DMX to D54 (another example)

 

If you are looking for the pinout :

 

Pin 1 = Ground

actually the pin out is:

 

Pin 1 = Ground

Pin 2 = 36v

Pin 3 = -VE Data

Pin 4 = +VE Data

Many thanks for that hint, ill see if I can get in touch with him.

 

FYI I currently run about 24 running mags with 6 being serviced.Looking for a DMX converter to save consitently carrying around another controller, and forgetting to change colours between cues!
