GaryM Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Has anyone had any experience of using the Clay Paky Alpha Spot HPE. The spec seems pretty impressive, but what about reliability and after-sales service? Clay Paky don't seem to get much of a mention in forums such as this - is this a bad sign?

danjshelton Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Rigged a couple today, and one excellent feature is the ability to alter the DMX Address of the unit before plugging the power in!!! No it's not magic, just a little battery! I was impressed anyway! Dan PS Company I was working for have had 10 - 20 for 5 odd months and have had little to no problems that I have heard of.
mac500 Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 hi out of curiosity who was the company that had them?

SparkySteve Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 a quick note for all interested parties.... WhiteLight now have the Alpha Wash Halo as part of their hire stock. my comments on the alpha range are dotting around on blue room somewhere....
Ben Lawrance Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I saw the Alpha range at PLASA last September, and I was mighty impressed with what they could do. They wouldn't let me put them in my car for some reason though??
