You can set this on the Digihandset menu.

Make sure it's set to the correct control voltage for the motors.  Either 110V or 24V.  It won't work correctly if set wrong.

You can also set to "none" to disable the limit detection.

Four 30m cables is rather long.  What size are the conductors.  You should probably step up to something more like 4-6mmsq for that length!  Depends on what motors of course, amongst other things.

Probably should move this thread to the rigging section.

I experienced the same issue with 5 rental units.

The cable length becomes a problem with 2 extensions even with large conductor sizes.

It's dissapointing. I've set limit detection to "none" on all of them.

Has anyone gotten it to work?

I know nothing specifically about Digihoist but looking at the spec it appears to use a 10baseT connection for the data. The maximum segment length for 10baseT is 100m (for propagation delay and timing reasons) so is it possible that this is the problem, rather than voltage drops in the power cables. To reiterate - I know nothing specifically about Digihoist so may talking rubbish!!!

Dave,You're referring to communications while I'm referring to the hoist limit detection feature, seperate from communications.

Ok. I said I knew nothing! As you were!🤐
