Just had a look at the profile.

25 years back (96 to 01) we had Miljuy (soft J) from an agency worked for us for a while. Nice girl, produced some good work but she didn't like cable tray for some reason, either installing it or putting cables on it.

She was based in NW London IIRC.

Probably not our OP the!!

Oh no I doubt it. But of course one never knows.

Another of those forgotten colleagues now remembered with affection in a totally professional capacity. Wiring a jack patch panel looked like it had been done on a CNC machine.

Oh dear now dropping into nostalga mode, she worked for us for a year or three on and off. We nearly threw a party when she made the mistake. A connexion panel with male and female XLRs and she managed to flip pins 1&2 on one connector. It went unnoticed until it was used for an unbalanced signal.

The difference is that she is a real person (& sounds a delight to work with); the OP, with a differently spelt first name & apparently fictitious employer, is probably not.

My apologies it's a typo, my colleagues name: Mijuy pronounced myi/my eye. Sounded like a Spanish accent and typically spoke very fast. Scrubbed up well when working in smart locations

Yes she was a wonderful contractor and of the large selection we got to work with, only she and another (male) were regularly asked to work fulltime for us.

The mistake I mentioned was, I believe, the only one (maybe the only one she missed and didn't correct?)

The other guy made the big mistake of cutting a big bunch of cables (enough to fill every port of a 24 channel desk) to length without moving the temporary labels along. As good as gold he sat and buzzed them out expecting to not be paid for the 'dead' time. Again it was so out of character.

I'm not criticising, we all make mistakes but others make more๐Ÿ˜’
