In association with James Thomas, Radlite, the STLD and myself as Stagetec we have organised an LED workshop at the National Theatre on July 22nd.

The purpose of the event is to show the latest Pixeline range of LED fittings from James Thomas (including their new LED cyc batten) plus the Pixeldrive and Videodrive software from Radlite, all run from the Compulite Vector console.

We would like to extend the invitation to Blue Room members and hope some of you are able to come along.

More details and a registration form are available on the STLD web site at: http://www.stld.org.uk/php/index.php?secti...=&contentid=293

Any queries please let me know.

Just one question: where in the National Theatre?

Thanks to Ashley and all at James Thomas for organising an interesting afternoon. It was a great opportunity for people who were genuinely interested in the products to get a bit of hands-on and ask a few questions in a quiet atmosphere, away from the casual browsers and hurly-burly so often found at the trade shows. I also bumped into a couple of old mates - which was nice

Although the afternoon would have benefitted from a formal presentation and maybe some literature and/or demo software to take away IMHO, it was still time well spent and I left the National with a feeling that I had learned something of use about the product, the control software and the way things were developing in general.

Excellent buffet, too :(

All literature and demo software will be posted out to you within the next week. We didn't want to bombard everyone with bags of paper.

Thanks to everyone who attended, it was a great chance for us at Radical Lighting and PixelRange to get great feedback and show you our latest developments without being in constant demand as we are at trade shows. We are planning more of these events in the future. Next stop PLASA, hope to see everyone there, stand F70
