Ken Coker Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Dear All I have a book list that those joining the SLLET degree in September, or thinking about doing so, may be interested in. It is a cut down version of the very comprehensive list to be found elsewhere on this forum,(many thanks BR!!), which I heartily recommend . This list is the very essential list. I am happy to email the list to anyone - student, prospective student or just interested general reader. Sadly, I can find no texts on manual desk operation but the latest Francis Read book should satisfy those of a historical bent, (Yesterday's Lights - A Revolution Reported, Entertainment Technology Press, ISBN 1904031323). As you may imagine I have firm views on this text - but that should not stop you reading it! Cheers KenBack to Mono!

J Pearce Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Have you read Ken's posts in the manual desk thread?
paulears Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Ah! I see now. Must have come hard to recommend a book about old fashioned lighting. Somehow can't see Francis getting excited about the niceties of programminga hog over a 550?
