Hi,

My school have 2 racks of 12 install dimmer channels with sockets over the stage. They all look like the photo.

Does anyone know what they are called, so I can order some and make up some adaptors to 15A?

A local hire company has them fitted to their stand lights. IIRC you can buy the connectors in maplins and wilkos. Not sure what they are rated to though.

The positions of the plug may look like a swiss plug, but the outer shape is a bit different...

Yes, Three in line. I have them on my lawnmower, in a lovely orange.

The Duraplug ones are worth the extra money.

They aren't that common no, but not so rare that finding them takes the best part of a month.

Try calling AC Lighting, SLX, WL etc in the morning and see if they can help. If they don't have it in next day delivery stock I'm sure they'd either be able to order some in or recommend another supplier.

Good luck.

Stu

PS. Don't go for the Terralec ones, who wants nasty white connectors in the air!

Yeah, they looked a bit terrible, IMHO.

Thanks for the help, I'll make a call in the morning.

JoJo have them product code 400080 RRP £3.77 inc VAT

I have always been able to find them in Wilkos and have seen them in maplins before.

Thanks very much, looking for products on the internet is not really one of my stronger points.

you could try e-mailing or calling terralec and asking if they have any in black, or they can get some?

At worst, there's always paint...
