Ben Lawrance Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I know it's a little short notice but I have been stitched up. My local behringer dealer had told me they were expecting stock for over a week. Phoned them back today and they've still not got it in. I've phoned round all the other places I can find (did a google) and non of those have stock either. The amp in question is the Behringer EP2500. Please don't give me the ooh's and ahh's of behringer. I started the last thread about them. Does any body have one they want to sell (tried eBay - nothing) or know of anywhere with stock. I'm beginning to panic now. CheersBen
Nickwoolley Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Hi, You can always try - Digital Village EP 2500 HTH Nick p.s it's a good amp - we have one here at school and have no problems at all with it
Ben Lawrance Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 Already tried them. No stock. Not getting any stock till next wednesday (20th) Thanks anyway. Ben
Bad_Rock Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 If you are trying Behringer I would suggest you to check the Omnitronic amps. They are in the same league and I found better results with them.
3guk Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Theres also turnkey !! And if you are near manchester a company called boomerang sounds has some in !!
bassman Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Try Electrovision in St Helens, distributor for Behringer - they often have plenty of stock. 01744-745000 Don't bother with the website - it's shocking but they are generally helpful on the phone if you know what you need. S
Mr.Si Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 The Guitar Amp and Keyboard Centre in Brighton might well sell them. I know they do stock Behringer stuff. Si
chris999998 Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Studiospares, here. I don't know if they'll have any in stock, but next/same day delivery or collection is available. HTH, Chris
cabletray Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 You could use an Alto Macro2400 via Proel uk or a retailer they are solid low cost amps.
J Pearce Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 With the deadline nearing why not hire until the order arrives then swap out for the new purchase when it arrives? Most hire companies should be able to provide something similar to the behringer amp.
Paul J Need Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Yeah go for a Macro amp ! Fab little things on a budget
Bad_Rock Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Right. Did you get your amp? You didn't tell us what happened. Regards.
Ben Lawrance Posted July 18, 2005 Author Posted July 18, 2005 Yeah, Sorry guys. Managed to get one. Did a search on ebay to see if there were any "buy it nows" To my surprise there was one. E-mailed the bloke, he e-mailed me back about 10 mins later. It was delivered on The Thursday. Hows that for cutting it fine. Had a few probs with my subs though.
