sam.henderson Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 This is a really vague question, in what respects do you mean? Design programs or OLE's?? Have a search it has been covered more than a few times!! Sam
dmxeater Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 sorry, it is rather vague ! iv just seen so many powerbooks in rockbands and I just wandered what they were used for.(scrap the lighting bit)
sam.henderson Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Umm. depends, projection, lighting software, pixelmad software/ RADlite, Sound Playback, Sound analysis, cue sheets. All sorts!! Sam
scott Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Worked at a club once, where the DJ was watching starksy and hutch (subtitles) on his laptop :-) Most DJ's htough to tend to use final scratch, ableton live or scratch though.
BlueShift Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 keyboard players seem to be mac fanboys in rock bands and use them as synths (with suitable audio interface) as well as doing some midi control of loops played back off of them
