ant Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 I'm fixing up a couple of powered peavey Monitors, and one of them has a crackly pot. Just wondering what the most effective and cheapest way to get rid of this problem is? Thanks
Russ Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Replace it. It's not usually that hard to find the replacement part in RS/Farnell, and soldering it in is usually easy. Generally if it's crackly, it means it's on the way out, and it's not usually salvagable.
