I have recently been asked to do a lighting job at a school and have managed to get all the fixtures on to the jester which I found quite difficult! But anyway now I want to add each fixture to an individual fader but haven’t got a clue how to do it can anyone help with this I’ve spent hours and I’m still no closer

Which model of Jester are you using? Is it an ML (which has the wheels for moving light control)?

Also when you say "fixture", what are actual lights? I'd usually think that fixture would imply an intelligent light of some kind (as opposed to a simpler generic lantern running from a dimmer channel). But terminology varies...

Yeah it’s the ML 48 I believe, and yeah the fixtures are just sort of a mix of lights really some pretty simple and others more complex. However those are the only light programmed that they have so I assumed that they could be assigned to a fader especially the more simpler lights

Hi Tom,

If you have patched fixtures onto the Fixture MFKs (Multi-Functional Keys) on the right-hand side of the console, their intensity can be controlled by clicking FIXTURES, selecting them using the fixure's MFK, and then using the Brightness encoder wheel.

If you wish to, you can program the fixture's intensities onto Submaster faders. To do this, go into PROGRAM mode, set your fixtures to the required levels, tap a Submaster flash button, and tap PROGRAM.
