Big Dipper IR filter Problems?

Hello,

I have purchased a Big Dipper Laser Show system from china.

I have read somewhere that there may be something "unsafe"

with these units?

 

Like maybe the IR filters are missing or something else.

 

If anyone knows anything about this please email me at tyson79@hotmail.com

 

I cannot find any info at all on the web about any problems with these lasers.

Hi, from what I have read I think the issue is that these units have a low grade IR filter which passes 1064nm and ~808nm IR into the beam at quite high powers possibly up to 10 times the power of the rated visible 532nm power.
