david.elsbury Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 It's 'CABLE TIE SUSPENSION THREAD II - THE REVENGE!' ;)<{POST_SNAPBACK}> And what's wrong with using cable ties for suspending lanterns?? :)<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oi Vey. This Thread.
jamienip Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Hook on first... how many times have you accidentally rigged the lamp with the front end on the wrong side??? very annoying, especially if the safety is on, gets twisted round the clamp etc.
JimWebber Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Most of my work is carried out at fixed bars, however even when flying, my routine is: 1. Hook lantern on bar.2. Attach Safety Bond. The earlier you attach it, the less chance there is of forgetting it.3. Make any final adjustments to position.4. Tighten Hook Clamp.5. Plug in lantern.6. Focus. In my experience, forgetting to do 5, makes 6 a bit more difficult. Yes, I have done it, as I suspect have most of you. PS OP, Staying up late is NOT an excuse for abysmal English :)
