Stewart Newlands Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 The Hitchin festival (rotw a local charity), 10 stages, 170 acts all 100% free to the public, thanks to some good fundraising and sponsors including PRS, soundcraft, pulsar, elp, opti, star events, rosco and many more, www.rotw.org.uk A good place to get to meet all sorts pro tech people, one event where most people are giving back. 9th and 10th July 2005

Mr.Si Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Yes, I wish I could be there too - Thanks for telling me about it on Fri night Stuart, I shall aim to go next year and try and get into doing some sound :( I shall be going to a Festival called Grassrootz ( http://www.grassrootz.org/ ) on the Saturday. I shall be doing sound for Matt Redman and Local Band, Dwell, on Sunday at an event called Eden ( www.edenzone.com Shall put it in my diary for next year.

J Pearce Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 Grassrootz another festival I wanted to go to but am too busy doing shows. Must remember to keep that weekend free next year. My drum teacher will be at ROTW with the BBC, and I'm stuck in a concert that he's meant to be at, lucky person.
