Lighting at Glastonbury

What you think to the Lighting at Glastonbury this year ?

 

In my opininion it was good , some areas could have been improved but other than that the lighting reflected in the quality of the music.

How on earth did they do the 3D effect on Fat Boy Slims set ? please fill me in.

 

A point I would like to make more use could have been made of the space cannons used during Coldplays set, I mean using them for Bassement Jaxx or New order.

 

Just would like other peoples opinions

It's probably worth pointing out that these weren't space cannons - they're synchrolites - and they're actually part of Coldplay's own rig for their current world tour. They'll probably have left the site early Sunday morning on the way to Crystal Palace for tonight's show there - leaving early this morning would potentially be cutting it a bit fine.

Oh sorry , little mistake there :( . I was unaware that coldplay had them in there equipment rig.

 

Yes that makes sense now synchrolites instead of the space cannons.

I thought the lighting was good but not spectacular, but then its festivals, very little rehearsal etc...

 

I certainly found some inspiration for a upcoming rock gig I am lighting.
