Strand Reporter / Reporter Pro Software?

Hey all,

 

Anyone know anyone who can possibly get me a copy of the Strand Reporter software used for commissioning SLD96 Racks.

It looks like a Windows XP version was produced. But I'd take earlier (Win95 etc.) just to have something on standby. I'm currently acquiring spare parts to keep a system running and I want to make sure I can commission the processor correctly if it ever needs swapping as the installed system is starting to show signs of age.

 

Strand simply said to me: "Unfortunately that is not possible any longer." which made me sad 😞

If you have Windows 10 (not sure how it works in Windows 11) and can find an XP version of the software - then it the compatibility troubleshooter should be good in getting it to run ok.

In terms of sourcing a copy - try an eMail to the folks at WhiteLight Service - they probably have a copy tucked away somewhere.

I'll ask around - we have an SLD96 that obviously at some point was commissioned. We may have a copy somewhere, and it's unlikely to be required further as we're retiring the rack.

WhiteLight have the software and they are going to check what's what when their Strand expert is back off annual leave. Thanks for the help everyone!

 

@alistermorton If you do come across the software I'd be interested as it might be a different/newer version etc.
