LXSX Posted January 31, 2022 Share Posted January 31, 2022 EWP is looking to recruit a Technical Project Assistant to work alongside our marine team offering support with all aspects of the project process from initial research through to collation of debrief information and everything in between. Reporting to the Marine Operations Manager, the TPA will be responsible for handling technical administration, producing drawings and creating systems, assisting with logistics and staffing, and any other support required by the Project Managers. This role whilst predominantly office based at our HQ in Rye, East Sussex may involve some travel both within the UK and possibly internationally. The main working hours will be Monday to Friday 9-5 although we are happy to discuss flexible working hours if required. The candidate will need to have experience within the entertainment, cruise ship or event production industries with a good knowledge of the technical elements associated with sound, lighting, video and installations. Experience of CAD/STARDRAW is essential as this will form a significant part of the role. The candidate will need to be able to work within a diverse team yet also have inititative to work alone to meet deadlines sometimes within short timescales. The candidate will ideally have a clean valid driving licence, hold a valid passport and be double vaccinated against Covid -19. The salary for this position starts at £22,500 depending on experience.
