Pearl 200/4 and fixtures

On the pearl 2000/4 is there a way of keeping my show but changing the fixtures in there like you can do on the hog etc

 

I have never had to do it until now, I have a show disk from the tour and I want to use the show disk at a few festival dates to save on time re-programing stuff as I have now got the timing for some specials bang on

Yeh its a tricky one I have bn racking my brain for a while and I cant think of any way to do it - but yes I will talk to avo and at some point will get an answer

could you possible edit the show file itself and replace the fixtures that way? not sure it'd work... think im ringing avo tomorrow anyway, will ask them if I remember!

There's currently no way of changing a fixture on the Pearl, Sapphire or Azure unfortunately.

 

It can only be done on the Diamond 4 by editing the show file, but in the next release of software you will be able to "exchange" fixtures for one another using a new feature. It works best if you program with palettes - which is something that most tours are likely to be doing anyway.
