Hmmm… That didn't last long. When I posted the link they were available and listed as £69. The alternative posted looks good, using a usb audio output device not only provides transformer isolation, but generally provides significantly better audio quality.

Yes agreed. When I followed the link for the Peavy today it stated not available and recommended Behringer USB units. a single channel and a 2 channel version of the same thing. I've interfaced a 2 channel unit which I needed to add transformers to the Jack outputs to avoid hum

Here is what I use. Passive, good quality and rugged.

They're cheaper than they used to be, Basically a pair of transformers and volume control in a decent metal box. Does what it says on the tin.
