AndyJ Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Try Bulgin pinout @ Stagetec.co.uk or Connector Wiring @ Tega.co.uk AJ
Guest mattladkinlx Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Or try google search (is it not 4 channel?)
jamienip Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Or try google search (is it not 4 channel?)<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yes, they are 4 channel, but have 8 pins. http://www.classd-design.com/images/product_images/G006BC_small.jpghttp://www.classd-design.com/images/product_images/G006BA_small.jpg Looking at the picture below, this is the standard pin out (looking at the back of the male connector) these may not relate to the numbers in the plug, I dont have one to look at. 1. Earth 2. Neutral (Bridged with 3)3. Neutral 4. N/C (not connected)5. Live 1 6. Live 27. Live 3 8. Live 4 http://www.stagesupplies.nl/images/multipin_8pin_bulgin.gif
Stu Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 The problem with Bulgin is that there seems to be quite a few standards. In addition to the links / information provided by previous posters, try Tom Baldwin's page on wiring Bulgin connectors - http://business.virgin.net/tom.baldwin/pinout-8bulgin.html Might be a good idea to find out what the NJD is kicking out, so you know how to wire up the rest of the leads. jamienip Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Might be a good idea to find out what the NJD is kicking out <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The information I posted was based on an NJD controller, as mentioned in the OP. James
Jivemaster Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I've used NJD for many years and the pin numbered 6 is NC the centre pin is earth the four adjacent pins are L1 to L4 (in reverse numeric order) and the two adjacent pins are N Pin 6 MUST be NC as many of the multiway adaptors have a PCB inside which incidently links all the pin 6s with all the earths. John Huson has an excelent pins and connectors resource linked through his pages here
