cosworth Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Can someone tell me the difference? is it ok to use fog fluid in a source aquahaze?
Andrew C Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Instructions?? Most probably not, unless the machine in question is unusually designed for dual use.
paulears Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 smoke fluid chokes up most hazers, and haze fluid has the nasty habit of squirting out as liquid. we just replaced one of our gem smoke machines that someone put hazer fluid in - element overheated and died. The nozzle was in a real state afterwards, black and burnt where the dribbles had dried.
JonHirsh Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 haze is a non cloudy dust like look in the air. this is best acomplshed with a oil based hazer because it creates thinner droplets and it hangs longer in the air. water based fluid although cleaner gives more of a fog like effect. this effect can and possible will last your whole show Fog is an effect of a cloud of smoke that with good ventilation should last mere seconds it appears as a dense cloud. it is usual water based low lying fog is an fog effect that stays near your deck. this is acomplished with one of these methods. Dry ice, nitrogen cooled fog, Co2 cooled fog.

zonino Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 yeah (theres a reason why companies make smoke & haze machines :P )
DangerMouse Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Hi, Have just bought a Source Aquahaze. Is it ok to just use any standard haze fluid in it or does it need a particular fluid? If so, can anyone advise which is best? Regards,
Modge Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Is it ok to just use any standard haze fluid in itThat's what two of my clients do with theirs, however in both cases the things spend quite a lot of time broken so not an unconditional recommendation (though I like think they've checked before they did it).
