The last one I used was 25pin

Same wiring as Strand F&D interfaces.

However they had a very long production run so it wouldn't suprise me to see if things changes or there were other variants available at some point.

Our one had the 8 Locking DIN Connectors. However it had also been fitted with the two 37 Way CEEP (?) Control Socapex Type Connector, and the DIN's had been disconnected and the outputs connected to the 37 Way connectors.

I have used a number of these desks, and they have either soca outputs or din analogue outputs or both. I think the dins are an extra and the soca is factory standard, but I may be wrong

Hope that helps.

When we had a sirius and I had to replace both output socopex's. I got so hacked off with the soldering job we coverted the whole damned system to DMX, it wasn't much more expensive than 2 x 37pin soca's, it's worth a look at.

2 types:

8 pin din

or

25 pin d-type

depends on how old it is

I think they all had a cut out for 37 socapex which was an optional extra

apparantly you cant fit the DMX card to the ones with the 25 pin D

o yes you can, been there done that :) the sirus at my previous venue was one of the first out of the factory and had 25 pin as standard and 37 pin soccas added latter ,sevral years later a DMX card was added without any problem well apart from drilling the hole for the XLR connector
