Mr Steve
Hi guys - had a search around the blue room, but couldn't see anything on this.... I'm programming a GSX for a dance show, with a set of scrollers. Scrollers are set up on it as scrollers ( <channel> @frame @frame 10* in the patch). I want to set up some lights on the submasters for manual flashing etc, but whenever I record a submaster, the desk records the scroller frame too. This is tres annoying as when you press the sub's flash button, the scrollers whiz to whatever frame they were at when the sub was recorded. Is there a way to record submasters but make it leave out colour channels?
smeggie
select 'dim only' [if I remember correctly] when recording the state to sub. [edit - seems I don't remember correctly- sorry]
Mr Steve
I can't see anything to do with "dim only" :(
MarcT
Go into the edit SUB screen, and remove the scroller channels from the submaster. I believe its: <X> THRU <Y> @COL . * CLR CLR When you've done that, the frame number should disappear from the scroller channels. Mr Steve
Cheers Marc - works a treat! Just a shame the dancers are talentless 14 year olds.
