We supply to dealers, distributors and end users in over 80 countries. In addition to our international headquarters in High Wycombe we have a Northern sales office in Leeds and sister companies in Europe, North America and Asia. Working within the Event Production and Demo Department based in High Wycombe, the role will supervise the team in supporting the sales and projects departments by providing demonstration equipment for exhibiting to customers. Experience in the entertainment industry or rental sector and a good sense of humour are advantageous. The following are a range of responsibilities in this role:Supervising the daily running of the departmentCoordinating a team of technicians; delegate duties, oversee preparation and repairs of stock,paperwork and administration, dispatching equipment etc.Preparing and testing various lighting, audio, video and rigging equipment for demonstrating to customersOverseeing the performance management of the team including setting objectives and assisting with weekly department meetingsAssisting with recruitment and training of new staffEnsuring all products are kept up to date with software and hardware upgradesEnsuring that processes are followed, reviewed and updated at all timesSetting up demos both in house and occasionally offsite, as well as assisting with exhibition preparation and constructionChasing stock that needs returning from both sales staff and suppliersSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a supervisory or team leader role is essentialExperience or knowledge of the entertainment industry would be advantageousExcellent verbal and written communication skillsConfident telephone mannerAble to work effectively under pressureKnowledge of MS OfficeFlexible and patientFork lift licence and MEWP experience (advantageous)If you think you have all the right skill set to join a hard working but fun team please apply with a current CV via email at Careers or visit our website for other opportunities Careers PageThe salary is negotiable but starts at £25000 per annum.
