Yamaha QL1 slave Midi control

Im trying to map dials and faders from a QL1 to a behringer X-Touch Compact, I have the faders set and are bidirectional however I cant find a setting to map the gain/pan or other knobs on the yamaha to a midi device. where in teh settings would I find this? and I ahve contacted yamaha and behringer and both have said it was impossible to get this far. Last bit of config needed is just mapping the knobs via midi to a external fade board. any help would be greatly appriciated.

Pages 164 to 167 of the reference manual will contain the information you require. You can assign pan functions to a CC message but the desk has not got this set up by default so you will need to add your own parameters to the CC list.

I am trying to achieve the same: Yamaha QL5 to be control by x touch compact beringer via midi control. Easy to set up faders to be controlled, but can not get other parameters to work via midi. Any advice?
