Hi There

I'm looking to build a good working relationship with a freelance Lighting Designer / Op in central London.

I have some immediate and upcoming dates to fill at a Toy Room club/venue in by London Oxford Circus. Standard events are Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 2200-0400 £150 on invoice.

There are also private events at similar times and earlier dotted throughout the week, either paid at the same 6 hour £150 day rate or at an event specific fee (£100 for minimum of 3 hours or minimum £25ph pro rata if the total rate is higher)

I manage the technical side of the venue and work as one of the LDs in addition to one other. As we both freelance for tours and odd dates, we're looking for a third LD who would suit a regular but flexible arrangement ongoing into 2019.

The venue is Avolites controlled but already well programmed for some fun busking - therefore basic avo experience is required. Venue audio is well looked after by an external company, however as the only technical person on site you are responsible for switching on the PA and grabbing a spare deck should one go down in the middle of an event!

I also manage external productions under my own company, and have random Op dates to fill at other venues. While not essential, it would be great to work with someone also interested in in picking up further live and club work as well as some more unique events involving a wider technical requirement.

To ensure my clients are always well looked after I'm always happy to provide training and guidance where necessary, however I'm looking for someone who already has professional and hard-working approach figured out.

If you're interested please drop me an email at lucas@voodoovision.co.uk

Cheers

Lucas
