QTX HZ3 info please

Hi, I have a QTX HZ3 hazer rated at 700 watts, can I put luxury thick smoke through it which says on the container, " use with machines rated 1.000-3,000 watts"? Will it work o.k. and will it clog or damage my precious machine?

Smoke machines are consumable items, usually disposable unless you've paid lots for a big name one.

Hi Phil,

 

Those machines are at the budget end of the market however are towards the better end of it. We find they have pump failures as a standard feature but respond well with the higher quality after market pumps we fit in ours. I would never put anything apart from the QTX Haze fluid through the machine though as it'll be very likely to clog the heater block which is terminal as you can't get this as a spare part.

 

Why would you want to use an alternative fluid when the genuine stuff is normally less than £12 per 5L bottle (well, it is from us anyway)?

Thanks Josh, I've been using standard fog fluid, I think I'll swap Luxury for Haze now, how about cleaning. It's about a year old and does average 1 gig a month. How often clean and what with?
