tecpro comms

Recommended Posts

Diverting slightly, the Altair kit is quite good for adding wireless to tecpro setups.

We have 2 kits of 4 outstations, which reliably connect to whichever venue we’re in, and also work standalone and as a basestation for further wired packs if required.

Agree that the altair kit works well with the Tecpro kit. If you get the right Altair base station then they do work and power the Tecpro system. My only note from having used them a fair bit recently is that personally I feel that the belt packs aren't as robust as they other brands and I have experienced a couple becoming a bit temperamental.

I have found the Altair packs to be a bit quiet in the headphones when I've used them - fine for theatre but not so good for music. The level sent onto the wired system was a bit low too, i.e. the wireless users were quieter than the wired users.
