Brian
I need a unit to take in, on an HD15, a variety of VGA type signals. Probably 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and maybe 1280x1024 and output a scaled version, also on HD15, with a resolution of either 1024x768 or 1280x1024. Ideally a budget-friendly unit, probably secondhand on eBay. Any recommendations? Plenty of units on there but none that I can see do HD15 to HD15. david.elsbury
Kramer vp724?Wait- you need two outputs at different resolutions?
Stuart91
If you need two simultaneous outputs at different resolutions, then the Kramer VP-727 would do the trick. It has a preview output that is separately selectable and scalable from the main output. Whilst the outputs have HD15s available, on the input side you would need adaptors to 5xBNC from HD15. James Remo
Have you looked at Analog Way Octo vue fx? HD15 ins and outs, scaling, 1u
Brian
Sorry for the confusion, my output resolution is 'either/or'. The Kramer vp724 looks like it'll do the job, there's none one ebay at the moment but I can afford to wait a month or two.
ninjadingle
There's an AMX YP2015-03 on eBay here - might suit your needs?
Stuart91
There's an AMX YP2015-03 on eBay here - might suit your needs? Does it actually scale the incoming signal? Looks like a straightforward switcher to me.
ninjadingle
Looks like you might be right. Audioworks list it as a switcher/scaler but the AMX site (When you find it!) makes no mention of scaling. Sorry!
