Hi Bigape,

Thanks for the link - but they aren't the correct connectors. There are three variants of that connector - cold, hot and superhot (155degC). For Strand lanterns we need the superhot style - Rapid are only stocking the cold and hot styles, which are generally easy to source.

All,

For others following this thread, I can report back that the service from Buerklin was excellent. Aside from having all of the required parts (inlet, lead socket and strain relief) at decent prices and reasonable delivery price, I ordered on Sunday night and the goods arrived from Germany to me in the UK on Wednesday. Even Thomann aren't that quick!

So if you need these connectors, this supplier is worth considering.

Just in case you hacen't placed the order yet, but have you considered Rapid - a quick search gave me the following page which seems to cover what you're after. No accounts needed, but they do charge delivery for orders under £30 (I think)

That was for C14s. We were after C16A and C15A, the high temperature version. Thanks for the link though.

Does anyone have a single spare Schurter 4310.0010 C15A Right Angle socket they'd sell me? The APSA ones that CPC sell really are total junk, the only one we have came down from the rig the other day with the screw fully intact but the connector half open...
