drsuse
Hi, Technical question about sound\volume differences. I have two earphones, both of theme are working fine.when I connect only one to my cellphone, I hear perfectly.when I connect both of theme with regular audio splitter the volume become very low and I barely hear something. another similar (I guess) problem-I have 2.1 system (microlab 530u- the sub is also amplifire) that works very well.when I connect my cell phone (xiaomi mi5) or tablet (lenovo tab 2) I hear the music very low and dimm and the volume needs to be increased a lot so I can hear.but when I connect iphone 6, suddenly the sound is clear and I dont need to increase the volume.what is the technical explanation for that?for the earphone- I guess if I add more then one load (earphones), the power\current is divided for both of the loads. but this is not technical explanation.is it related to impedance? if so, how this is works? and why there is a sound difference when I connect different devices to the 2.1 system?I'm bit confused and will be happy for technical explanation for both of the cases :)Thanks! What kind of audio splitter? I'd guess the left and right signals are being shorted together, which will cause this sort of effect. Possibly the same problem with the other setup!
