neeraj.pola Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 hello all, I am using a 100 mtr HDSDI cable(percon) for 3GHDSI signal transmission, and its works fine for 100 mtrs.what is the possibility to make the length to 200 mtr..? Thanks In advance NP
Dave m Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 It may work, but may not.But you can get driver amps to stick,in the middlehttp://www.rcblogic.co.uk/p-3252-datavideo-vp-633-powered-sdi-repeater.aspx?st=11&source=paidclick&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzs7l7r7q1AIV3antCh2iRQs5EAQYAiABEgJxGvD_BwE
dosxuk Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 For 3G @ 200m you'll almost certainly need a repeater. I've got a couple of Blackmagic's SDI to HDMI microconverters to do this (£65 list ex VAT) as they regenerate the incoming SDI signal onto the loop out connector, and can be powered off a USB battery.

Yep, brilliant get out of jail free card those! You could probably get to 200m, but the cost and thickness of the coax required would be a challenge!
