pulsar rock desk

hi this is my first topic on the forum.

 

I have been asked to make a pulsar 8 channel desk work as a remote out station for the Q commander console.

 

the rock desk works on +10v, and the the commander also takes +10v for the out station.

 

This isnt the problem as all I need is a 25 pin sub D connecter to two din plugs for the rock desk. (the Q commander can controller 16 exsternal faders but im only using 8 for the rock desk)

 

The problems comes when I want to put power to the rock desk to make it work, in thery the desk should get its power supply from the dimmer packs, +14v - +25v 40 mA minimum.

 

How do I get supply to the the rock desk? there is two pins on two of the outputs im well confused!!!

I have seen this before and the answer is as simple a it seems, you need to use a 14-25v power supply terminating on a 8 pin din plug 0v to ground and +v to is1.All the information is on the back of the desk and the link you posted.

 

You only need to provide supply to the desk on one of the sockets.

 

 

as I write this I'm not sure I'm making this as clear as I should be, sorry if I have not come across very clear
