I've noticed a few topics regarding pat testing, As you probably know its not just testing its logging the results thats important, HSE follow paper trails.plus the whole industry is at last getting more professional more venues/ clients are demanding PAT certificates.

There are a few software systems out there most don't seem to be designed for the hire industry & are not very user friendly.

If you are interested in a complete package (software / hardware ) you should check out the Savant system, it was designed around the needs of the hire industy, is very user friendly, works in real time & is used by some of the top hire companies Essential lighting, Fisher Productions, AFM tv & Film Lighting, Blitz Communications, Hawthorn, to name a few that I know of.

I agree fender, we installed this system a year or so ago, it does just what it says on the box !
