photographic08 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Does anyone know how to draw an IWB with channel numbers of vectorworks?
alexforey Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I don't think you can. The philosophy they're using (I think) is that the LD places lights on a bar wherever they want, and it's the electricians' job to figure out how to power them, so it's not a feature that VW would add for designers. Don't necessarily agree with this, but that may the thinking behind it.
indyld Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 You can draw/model pretty much anything in Vectorworks. Could clarify what you are trying to achieve and ask a slightly more detailed question?
photographic08 Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 I'm trying to represent our Andolite IWBs and the circuits which are fixed to them. Something like the tick marks feature would do it however I don't just want to go along with the text tool for numbering if I can avoid it!

A bit like channeling up lighting fixtures.
