BenEdwards
Been olaying with the BCF2000 with lightfactroy and it seems to work butthere are a cople of od things whitch makes me thinnk I may have a slightly falty one, First thing, with first ENCODER GROUPS button pressed wgen the dials are turned down I get a single LED for all but the 5th dial, whitch has no LEDs lit. When I turn the dial up the first LED lights up so it is working, this seems a little strange. All the other ENCODER GROUPS seem to behave consistently. Second thing refered to the pairs of buttons under the dials. Fro the first and lasrt pair the pressing the buttons toggles the LED on thew button. For all the other buttons the LED comes on when button is pressed and goes out when it is not. Again this seems strange. Be good for someone to shead some light on this, have I got a duff unit? Guest
I trust you mean the Behringer BCF2000? I am still yet to purchase my BCF2000 for my version of LightFactory and have noticed you've been having a few problems. I will be purchasing soon, and when I do if you're still having problems it will be easier for me to give you a hand when I have it in front of me. From this problem sadly it does sound like it may be the BCF2000 though. Hopefully I'll be more help soon, but keep me posted! Edward
Peter F
Have you tried a factory reset? I forget how to do it right now but I'm sure google will remember. Cheers, Peter
Richard CSL
Every function is programmable on the dial encoders, even the leds. I suggest reading the manual because the behaviour of each button and led is assignable. I am guessing that if you look at the attributes for encoder 5 it will be different from the others. I think you press program for 5 seconds then turn the encoder then scroll through the various options and here you will see the settings for the encoder. Do this for encoder 4 then compare to 5 you will see a difference.

Think I have got my head around how to change things but cant work out how to tell what the current settings are, i.e. I can change the settings on the buttons/dials/faders but how do I know what the ones that behave how I want are set to so I can replicate the setting on the ones that do not? Same it is so noisy, our booth is 2/3 meters behind the audience and not sure if I would even want to press the buttons although using the sliders (as long as the software is not changing them) is quiet.
