Young Johnstone Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Would be worth looking at the Martin m-touch and use Martin mpc I think the OP is on a budget outside of Martin and other pro equipment. Not really, the M-Touch is around 300. Possibly just over. I think I paid 350 for mine.M-PC is a serious contender against the other software suggested as it will easily handle your requirements and future proof for an expanding rig. The M-Touch will give you 10 'fader' playbacks and 10 executor style buttons. It then has 4 attribute 'encoders / faders' and access to programming buttons. Is also has a single universe output and with extra hardware you can add more universes as needed. The software is quite easy to learn, yet very powerful. Failing that, M-PC will output DMX from an Entec dongle and the BCF2000 can also be used with it as playback control. E2A- I've just noticed you're in Bristol? Enlightened Lighting are a Martin dealer and stock the M-Touch, its worth a quick phone call to them.

What are the "touch faders" like to use? That's a really attractive price point considering the cheapest Chamsys wing is about £600 and the cheapest Avo wing is about £3K
Young Johnstone Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 They are a little odd the first time using them, but after a good few goes you get used to them. Personally I've had no issues using it from a busking point of view. I use it quite alot as a playback wing with my proper desk sonits great for that. The price is a real game changer if you ask me, considering what you actually get.
