spotblaster
When I record an FX speed in a cue using any method the speed value will come back at a different number every time the cue is played back. Sometimes the change will be small ie 2.00s will comeback as 1.97s but some times it can be out by as much as a factor of 10. So not reliable to use. This occurs no matter how the speed is set, whether I use pc demo mode, pc wing, windows xp or windows 7. Currently using v1.6.6.8 but it seems to occur in earlier versions of the software as well. Has anyone else seen this? Any suggested work arounds? Spotblaster
jameschamsys
Could you try enabling High Res FX (Setup > view Settings > Mode > Show file Format) = High Res FX. Any problems let me know.
spotblaster
Update. Using "Hi Res FX" improved FX times changing when a show file was transferred to another instance of MagicQ. The FX speed time change was tracked to pressing the "Go" button. Activating the cue using a dummy cue to trigger or a cue stack macro proved a satisfactory workround. It was eventually found (not by me but a fellow MagicQ user) that having "Tap to time" buttons set to "GO buttons" would cause corruption of the FX speed time setting. Setting this to "None" fixed the problem. Spotblaster
