Ynot Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Bit late to the party, but I've had problems in the past with two specific floor colours - both on panto. The first was Aladdin where the floor somewhat resembled a Nurofen packet - yellow centre gradiating through orange to red at the outside...http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j40/Ynot_01/DSC_1407.jpg This wasn't an easy set to light (the side flats were mainly red base as well) as I got a HUGE amount of very warm bounce especially in the mid stage areas. Apparently the video guy loved it though!! However the worst stage clour EVER I've lit was purple.http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j40/Ynot_01/DSC_1657_zps9h3hrdvj.jpg Doesn't look so bad here, but with the maroon-ish walls and side flats it was a bugger. I pleaded with the designer to abandon the idea of a purple floor but got nowhere :(And when it came to programming, I found that almost anything I threw at it came up.... purple - or a different shade of purple... or a lighter shade of purple.HATED it, I have to say.
TomHoward Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I like how the stance of the technician in the second photo (no doubt mid problem-solving) somewhat mirrors the dame in the first.
