Sungmin Eric Kim Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Hello, Does anyone know any software that will live animate a logo or image in sync with music (a bit like what UKF and Trap City do with their youtube videos but live)? My original thought was to make a logo gobo and put it in a Source Four or equivalent but the effects would be limited and I'd prefer to go down the projection route or using our stadium screen setup. Thanks
peza2010 Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 resolume or modul8 would be my first port of call, both of which can take an audio trigger.
lite_lad Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Or you could build something in one of the many node based visual programs (quartz - which can be played back in many mac programs, i.e. qlab or catalyst, VVVV, Ai, touch designer....) and either running it standalone or via a piece of software which will play other videos too. You could tie some elements you wanted to be animated to different frequencies of the audio quite easily, like the classic equalizer! and to get something simple out of it theres lots of tutorials and templates available.
