exaisle
My Bose Panaray Controller (the black kind...mark I) is rebooting when the input exceeds approximately -12dB. At lower input levels it works fine but if I increase the output from my mixing desk, it causes the controller to reboot. Can anybody suggest a possible cause? Also, is it possible to do a factory reset...and if so, how? (Just on the off chance that it might resolve the problem) E
exaisle
I suspect it might have been caused by a short circuit on one of the output leads to the power amps.... If I run volumes high enough to light the red LED, it doesn't reboot when the outputs are disconnected from the power amps...
parky58
I have one of these with a faulty output channel. Bose will not support or repair these units so I have given up and now use an amp with Dsp (Lab Gruppen IPD2400) which I have programmed with 802 parameters. Works well and more compact. You would nt happen to have those parameters to hand would you ? I have two pairs of 802s and only one 802c.... would be handy to use one of my dsps as an alternative for smaller jobs... have you got the mk3 or mk2 ? sandall
You would nt happen to have those parameters to hand would you ?I have response curves for 402 & 802 Mk.2, which tie in closely with measured figures, if anyone can tell me how to insert a jpeg from desktop into a post. (or if anyone cleverer than me wants to PM me with their email address I can send it as an attachment)

Never done it but I think that's way to do it
parky58
You would nt happen to have those parameters to hand would you ? These are the parameters I use. I got them off the web somewhere. They work Ok with my Mk3's and Mk2's. LPF; But 24, 17.6kHzHPF; But 48, 47HzEQ1; +9dB, 3.85kHz, 12dB/Oct, High ShelvingEQ2; -5dB, 3.39kHz, Q=1, ParametricEQ3; -3.5dB, 620Hz, Q=1.1, ParametricEQ4; +1.3dB, 7.32kHz, Q=3.5, ParametricEQ5; -2dB, 1.98kHz, Q=3.2, ParametricEQ6; 12dB, 111Hz, 12dB/Oct, Low Shelving - Full-range only
