pete10uk Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I'm having trouble uploading a custom logo to a NEC projector. I have done this in the past and remember it being a hassle, but I'm now 2 hours in and just having no luck. I'm using virtual remote, its connected to the projector via network (a P420X), it currently has the customers old logo in it, which they want me to update. I have the spec of the logo as detailed in the manual, <64kb 699x499 max, 256 colour. I have a file which is within this spec but when I try and upload it, the program says the file is to large by 100x I.e Size of file 312448 Byte please specify a file 65536 or less. Windows is reporting the file as 32.0Kb 32768 Bytes. I have converted the image to a whole host of different formats, sizes, used different images etc. jet I have another logo from a different customer which works, from the information I have on the file it looks pretty much the same. Any one else had this issue and have a fix, it really shouldn't be this hard to sort.
stevep Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 done this a few times by simply sticking a usb memory stick into the projector and using the onboard menus. So would give it a try without going through the network in case its related to that.Did remember getting some strange results when the picture format differed from the image dimensions, but it still showed the image
