LED Wash Lights LED Naming or Numbering Convention ?

Title says it all, is there a convention for naming or numbering the led's used in wash fixtures i.e. inner ring 1, middle ring 2, outer ring 3 ? so when you are making a template for the fixture, you can use a shorthand system for describing what LED comes and does whatever it does.

 

I have just bought two Hosen HS-LMW-3618Z , the manual sent to me says 19 channel, the web says 16 channel, the menu in the light says 20 channel and 31 channel, so I am going to have to write my own DMX chart and want to detail the ring effects etc.
