gazman
Hi! I need to get a dirt cheap mixer (don't care about features) for passing through an audio signal. It MUST have XLR out tho, can anyone help!?!?
Bobbsy
Three questions before we can give a meaningful answer: 1. Do you really mean a DJ mixer or will any mixer do? 2. What sort of inputs do you need, and how many of them? 3. Would you consider a solution that had a balanced input on a TRS jack, and add a TRS to XLR adaptor cable? 3guk
http://www.citydj.co.uk/Product_Details.asp?ProdID=158 It shouldnt really matter what mixer you use ! You can get cheaper than the one above. Just use a Jack-XLR converter and you are laughing :(
TeeJay
3. Would you consider a solution that had a balanced input on a TRS jack, and add a TRS to XLR adaptor cable? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <Pedant>I'm guessing you mean balanced OUTput on TRS jack</Pedant > (sorry :P ) I'd add 4) How many outputs needed as XLR? And number of outputs in total (not specifically XLR)? As a guide, you'll be looking at a few hundred for any mixer with XLR outputs but (as an example) a Spirit Notepad + 2 XLR:Stereo Jacks will cost less then £100 (or am I teaching your mother's mother to suck eggs? :( )
