danlightingman210
Hi guys I've just bought a pair of alto truesonic TS112A and plugged them all in etc tried them and they sound great all components appear to be working, except one side seems to be more toppy and the other appears to be more subby. Now I think this may be because one side seems slightly louder than the other though I'm not certain, I'm just wondering if anybody has any idea why this may be? Thanks in ahead for your help. mkfs9
Swap the leads over or switch channels over see if problem stays with the same cab. Put them far enough apart to separate the sound out.
S&L
..and then come back and let us know what you think of quality Dan - I have been toying with buying some trusonic subs for a while now but haven't bitten the bullet yet.
danlightingman210
Thanks for your help there I'll give all that a try. It's probably just me being a perfectionist! And as for the quality I would certainly recommend them. For the price they have a great frequency response and are well made (not some cheap and nasty stuff) I also like the amp modules they have some nice little features. I'm guessing the subs will have the same drivers and processing etc so yeah I wouldn't doubt buying some at all! I was quite surprised at how much low end there was with just the tops so sure the subs will certainly add something.
jacethebase
Did you buy them second hand by any chance?I have some of these and yes they do sound ok but the 15" is massively underpowered and they have a habit of getting blown. The gain pots are a stupid idea! A lone level and mic pre in one pot is one of the worst ideas I have ever come across.Back to my point, a lot of these have had the 15" replaced with an eminence delta this may be what you are hearing. Blue Arran actually recommend changing out the original 15 for the delta.Jace
