timsabre
Someone's given me a Tiger Touch with problems to have a look at, one of the things is that the Titan Healthcheck window comes up on every boot saying that the disk needs checking. Even if you allow it to check the disk, it still comes up again that it needs checking the next time you start it. One of the other problems is that it bluescreens occasionally, these issues could well be connected... I'll be asking Avo about it but just wondering if anyone else has had the Titan Healthcheck thing happen.
smalljoshua
Hmm, repeated disk errors are signs of a failing HDD or if a newer TT with a SSD, loose cable to the SSD. Try re-seating all the cables and see what it does from there. Josh
timsabre
It has an SSD, will have a look, although the Titan healthcheck window is a scheduled thing rather than being fault detection, as far as I know - it just comes up every 6 months or something like that. niclights
The 6 months only relates to the personality library. Since 7.3 there is a low space check, although I think it should say that. BSOD sounds suspicious, especially with SSD. Which one do you have? The Intel's seem to be reliable but there were definitely issues with the OCZ's. Windows Event Viewer should give you clues. There was also an issue identified with power distribution whereby the SSD should not share the same lines as the hubs (relay kickback when using rear panel reset could trip up the SSD). Solution is to route so that SSD & CPU fan share one line and the two hubs share the other. However, I think this is probably straying a bit far from the heath check issue. I'd give Lee a call and ask.
