Micken Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Hello, Our Whole Hog 3 internal Midi card is knackered, Highend tell us the problem is rare...so rare it's happened to 2 of our desks. We are trying to use an external M-Audio Uno through USB to save $8k per desk however we are having problems getting the desk to communicate through it, it appears to keep trying to use the internal. Everywhere I've searched comes up blank or with advice of use the internal. Anyone with any idea that could point us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Our operator is new to the desk and still working her way through it. Thank you

Thank you Have you looked into sourcing a replacement MIDI card, the Wholehogs are an easy console to work on internally, and if the card is faulty it should be pretty easy to replace if you can source a part.
