xenosapien01
Has anyone used one of these before? if so are they any good? I cant find any reviews online about it. The venue I do sound in wants to buy one, the lighting system isnt big (10 LED par 64s 4 mac 250;s and 4 L.E.D bars) I'm curious if this would be worth buying if not then what would you recommend for a similar price? mrboo
I can see it all working for so long then button or faders get used and start to stick. for £700 or so you can pick up a better 2nd hand desk. you could pick up a hog 250 for this or a masterpiece
Askul
I have one of these in my work and I don´t recommended it, especially if you are doing something live with bands. In disco it has some use. I don´t know if this one is broken but it has irritating lag. The more is going on stage, the merrier. Stacking multiple chases is nice but sometimes it gets so stuck that you have press flash buttons for seconds to get something done. And I had only 4 scans& 4 washers to control. Even so simple as using faders to par cans has delay. But biggest pain is that it has no effect generator! It´s absolutely pure torment nowadays when you have computer based systems, to program some awesome chases step by step without even any helping mathematics :D So ro no, argh. -A
andyparcans
we were asked to install one on these controllers for a school, that wanted to control led par cans and led moving head spots. it is not the best unit for this I my opinion, long winded and not easily programmable for moving heads. So we instad suggested an Avo one USB unit and as we use Avo desks all the time it was very easy to program all the lighting and several show scenareos. also the school can go online and use the online demo version as a teching aid.and the best part is that the Avo one dongle is only £70 for industry standard lighting software. hope that helps
